Royal Liverpool Philharmonic (RLP) has promoted SANDRA PARR from Head of Programming to Artistic Planning Director; Orchestra and Ensembles, and appointed ANDREW CORNALL as Artistic Consultant. He steps does from his positions as President, Artists and Repertoire at EMI Classics and a Board member for RLP.

Director of Pallant House Gallery STEFAN VAN RAAY is stepping down after 15 years in post in order to move abroad.

The Stage Management Association has appointed freelance producer ANDY ROWLEY as its new Executive Director. He takes over from BARBARA EIFLER who left earlier this year.

Executive Producer of theatre company Told by an Idiot SEBASTIAN WARRACK is leaving to take up the position of Executive Director at Salisbury Playhouse. He takes over from MICHELLE CARWARDINE-PALMER, who is leaving to join National Theatre Wales.

PROFESSOR DAI SMITH will serve a third term as Chair of the Arts Council of Wales. His current term ends in March 2013, and this has been extended until March 2016.

After more than 20 years in post, Artistic Director of the Library Theatre Company CHRIS HONER will step down when the company merges with Cornerhouse in 2014.
