ANNA VERMEHREN is the new Director of Timespan, a museum and art centre in the North Highlands of Scotland. She steps down as a Project Manager at Deveron Arts in Huntly.

 RUTH CARNEY will take over from MARTIN DERBYSHIRE as Artistic Director of Sheffield’s Lantern Theatre when he takes up the position of Creative Producer at the venue alongside MATT RISBY in July.

The Family Friendly Arts Campaign, being launched by a consortium led by the Association of British Orchestras, has appointed ALASTAIR TALLON as its Project Manager. He has previously worked as Head of Learning & Participation at Royal Albert Hall.

CATHRYN GOODWIN is the new Creative Engagement Officer at Creative Enterprise, a business support initiative in the West Midlands. She has previously worked for Warwick Arts Centre and Arts+Media Training.

Governor of Southbank Centre CORNELIUS MEDVEI is the new Chair of Trustees of Cockpit Arts.

MICHAEL OCKWELL will be the new Chief Executive of The Mayflower Theatre, when DENNIS HALL retires at the end of October. He is currently the Chief Executive of the Grand Opera House in Belfast.

Director of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, KEVIN THOMPSON OBE is the new Chairman of Pilot Theatre. He takes over from DAVE MOUTREY.

The Arts Marketing Association has appointed four new staff members to support a new ‘best-practice’ project for the cultural sector. JANE RICHARDSON will join as Head of Marketing, CATH HUME as Head of Programme, PAMELA PFROMMER as Knowledge Bank Content Manager, and DOMINIKA KARPOWICZ as Marketing Assistant.

The Aurora Orchestra has appointed KATE GREEN as its new Projects Manager. She will be stepping down as Recordings and Concert Orchestra Manager of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

JANE SPIERS is stepping down as Chief Executive of Horsecross Arts, the arts development organisation which runs Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre, to become Chief Executive of Aberdeen Performing Arts. Her new role will begin in September.

ALICE RAWSTHORN is the new Chair of Chisenhale Gallery’s board of trustees. She is also a trustee of the Whitechapel Gallery and Arts Council England. KATIE GUGGENHEIM, currently working at Tate Modern, has been appointed as the Gallery’s new Exhibitions and Events Organiser.

GLYNDWR JONES, currently Head of Qualifications and Standards at Trinity College, has been appointed Director of the Council for Dance Education and Training, to succeed Sean Williams who is leaving in August.
