Bluecoat Arts Centre has appointed a new Business Development Manager, Lynne Robertson, to manage the organisations tenant recruitment activity. She has spent the last two-and-a-half years working for the social enterprise, Train 2000.

Mike Stubbs has moved from Melbourne, Australia, to join FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) as Director. For the past three years he has worked at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, first as Curatorial Manager, then as Head of Exhibitions.

The new Marketing Manager for the London Sinfonietta will be Doug Buist, currently Head of Marketing and Sales at Salisbury Playhouse, and prior to that, Marketing and Audience Development Officer at BBC Proms. He replaces Alison Atkinson, who is leaving to pursue a career in web and new media project management.

Helen Jackson (pictured) is the new Chief Executive of Horse + Bamboo Theatre, having previously worked for voluntary sector organisations including Oldham Law Centre and Coldwell Activity Centre. For the past two-and-a-half years, she has been Honorary Treasurer of Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus.

Lloyd Dorfman, Founder and Chairman of financial services business Travelex, will be the new Chairman of the Roundhouse, taking over from Chairman Torquil Norman in July.

The new Marketing Officer for Motionhouse Dance Theatre is Sanna Lounasto (pictured), previously Marketing Officer at sampad South Asian Arts. She takes over from Nicky Everett, who is leaving to develop her own web, print and arts marketing business.

Alicia Gelassakis has left Battersea Arts Centre, where she was Press and Communications Officer, to take up the position of Press Officer at Southbank Centre.

Kati Clark, previously at the National Youth Dance Agency for Scotland, YDance, has joined Stevenson College Edinburgh Music Box as the new Creative Arts Manager.

The European Union Youth Orchestra has announced the appointment of Kim Sargeant to the post of General Manager. Most recently General Manager of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, before leaving the UK his positions included Festival Organiser of the Cheltenham Festival and Artistic Administrator of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. He replaces Derek Warby, who is leaving for personal reasons.

Lisa Wood is the new Press & Communications Officer for the Oxford Playhouse, having moved from The Courtyard, Herefordshires Centre for the Arts, where she was Marketing Officer (Press and PR).

The Orchestra of St Johns has announced the appointment of Jan Peter Schmolck as its new leader, replacing Harvey de Souza, who will remain a guest leader.

After eight years as the Chair of Youth Music, Gavin Henderson is retiring and will be replaced by Richard Stilgoe (pictured). Richard has been a Youth Music Trustee since the charitys inception in 1999 and is well known as a singer/songwriter, lyricist and broadcaster.

Lord Bruce-Lockhart, currently Chair of the Local Government Association, has been appointed Chair of English Heritage, the Governments statutory advisor on the historic environment. He will take over from Sir Neil Cossons in August

Sarah Alexander (pictured), currently MAX Director at Welsh National Opera, will be the new Director of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, succeeding Jonathan Vaughan.
