Scotland’s first British Sign Language Director Trainee will be PETRE DOBRE. Originally from Romania, he has been studying at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and graduated in Performance in BSL and English, the only course of its kind on offer in Europe. His one-year traineeship is funded from Creative Scotland’s Year of Young people fund. The role was devised for an emerging Director who uses BSL to help them pursue a career in performance making.
