Purple Seven's Managing Director DAVID BROWNLEE is stepping down after 18 months.

His announcement comes as the arts data company undergoes a merger with arts consulting firm TRG Arts.

Brownlee will oversee completion of the merger before departing in April, when his role will be replaced with a new post, TRG Arts Managing Director.

A former UK Theatre Executive Director, Brownlee says he is proud of what Purple Seven achieved during his tenure.

"I have long believed that TRG Arts and Purple Seven are a great fit. Together they can provide invaluable support to arts and culture organisations around the world.

"I wish the merged operation well as I look forward to exploring exciting new career opportunities over the coming months."
