RISHI COUPLAND will join the BFI in July as Head of Research and Insight. A Clore Fellow, he is currently Head of Data Intelligence at the National Theatre, where he leads the National Theatre Data Studio.

His other previous roles include Head of Audience Strategy for the National Theatre and Marketing Services Manager at the Southbank Centre. He has also worked as a mechanical engineer with companies such as British Airways and Kimberly-Clark.

His board appointments include the Arts Marketing Association and London Arts and Health Forum.
