After eight years as chair of the Albany Board, CLAIRE PRITCHARD is to step down. The new chair is to be DAME JOAN RUDDOCK DBE, former Member of Parliament for Lewisham Deptford, who has been an Albany Board member for the past year.

Co-Artistic Director of WillFredd Theatre and Associate Director of Rough Magic SOPHIE MOTLEY has been appointed Artistic Director of Pentabus Theatre Company. She replaces ELIZABETH FREESTONE, who leaves after five years in post to pursue a freelance career.
