After nearly five years as Project Manager of the Cultural Commissioning Programme at NCVO, JESSICA HARRIS is moving on to freelance and consultancy work in the arts and cultural sector.

COSTA PILAVACHI has joined the Board of Directors of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, following a career which has included a stint as Senior Vice-President of Universal Music.
Formerly a trustee of the Serpentine Gallery, Royal Opera House and Sadler’s Wells, MARCO COMPAGNONI has been appointed Chair of Contemporary Art Society. He is a senior partner in international law firm Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP.
Currently Director of the Séamus Ennis Arts Centre, SEAN PAUL O’HARE has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Beacon Arts Centre. He will take up post in January.
National Youth Arts Wales Consultant Transition Director, PETER BELLINGHAM, will join Sinfonia Cymru as Chief Executive at the end of January 2018. He takes the reigns from SOPHIE LEWIS, who will leave after 11 years in post.
Trumpeter ALISON BALSOM will become Artistic Director of Cheltenham Music Festival from early 2018.
TRICIA TUTTLE, currently the Deputy Head of Festivals for the BFI, will become the London Film Festival’s (LFF) interim Artistic Director. ANNE-MARIE FLYNN, currently Head of Business & Industry, will become the LFF’s interim Managing Director. Both will be filling in for CLARE STEWART, London Film Festival Director and BFI Head of Festivals, whilst she takes a year-long sabbatical.
IMOGEN KINCHIN has been appointed Executive Director of New Adventures and will lead the company alongside Artistic Director MATTHEW BOURNE and Group Managing Director ROBERT NOBLE. She joins from Lyric Hammersmith, where she has been Senior Producer.
After 17 years in post, DAVID FLEMING has announced he will retire as Director of National Museums Liverpool from March 2018, coinciding with the end of his second term as President of the UK Museums Association. He will take up a new professorial role with Liverpool Hope University.

Horsecross Arts Chief Executive, GWILYM GIBBONS, is leaving after three years in post. He will remain in place until late February 2018, then take over as Chief Executive of the Crichton Trust in Dumfries and Galloway in April.
