After ten years as Chief Executive of the Collections Trust NICK POOLE is stepping down. He has been appointed Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.
SUE DAVIES has been made redundant from her role as General Manager of the National Funding Scheme (NFS). The new Director of the National Gallery in London will be GABRIELE FINALDI, the current Deputy Director for Collections and Research at the Museo Nacional del Prado, Madrid. He returns to the National Gallery, where he was a curator from 1992 to 2002, to replace NICHOLAS PENNY, who retires after seven years in post.
