The new Artistic and Executive Director of Newbury’s Watermill Theatre will be PAUL HART, currently an associate of Propeller Theatre company. He replaces HEDDA BEEBY, who will be stepping down at the end of this year.
WENDY SMITH, who has worked in senior positions in the Learning and Participation team at Sage Gateshead for 12 years, has been appointed as the organisation’s new Director of Learning and Participation.
DAVID BICKLE will join the V&A in August as Director of Design, Exhibitions and FuturePlan. Currently a Senior Partner at Hawkins\Brown Architects, he will be responsible for the care and development of the V&A’s buildings, as well as the presentation of all of museum’s permanent collections and exhibitions.
DR XERXES MAZDA will be the new Director of Collections at National Museums Scotland. His most recent post has been Deputy Director, Engagement, with the Royal Ontario Museum, prior to which he held positions with the British Museum and the Science Museum.
The new Executive Director of the National Orchestra for All, Kate Wareham, names those who inspire her work.

The British Film Institute (BFI) has appointed DEBORAH WILLIAMS to the new role of Diversity Manager. She leaves Arts Council England, where she has been Senior Officer, Policy and Research, Equality and Diversity.
After six years leading Axisweb SHEILA MCGREGOR has stood down. MARK SMITH, who has been with the company since 2006, succeeds her as Executive Director. The move follows the announcement last July that Axisweb will not be admitted into the Arts Council England national portfolio for 2015-18.
CHRISTOPHER GOODHART is leaving Blackbaud after ten years with the company, to spend more time focusing on his role as Chairman of The Campaign for Drawing and his consulting work with other charities.
Spoken word organisation Apples and Snakes has appointed the Director and CEO of Half Moon Theatre, CHRIS ELWELL, as its new Chair of Trustees.
The Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) has appointed choral director, composer and arranger JEREMY JACKMAN as its President for 2015/16.
