KATHY EVERETT, Head of Development at Discover Children’s Story Centre, and LIVVY BRINSON, Director of Development and Future Partnerships at the Young Vic, have joined Spare Tyre’s Board as trustees.
ANDY EAGLE and IWAN BALA have been appointed as Council Members for the Arts Council of Wales. Eagle is the Chief Executive of Chapter Arts Centre and Bala is a visual arts practitioner, writer and lecturer.
The European Union Youth Orchestra’s Head of Development and Communications, CHARLOTTE HAMILTON, has left the organisation to become Development Director at London Music Masters.
CHRISTOPHER MILLARD, Director of Press and Communications at the Royal Opera House, is to leave in December and join the Royal College of Art as Director of Marketing and Communications.
AMANDA ARISS, former Executive Director of the Creative Diversity Network, has joined OperaUpClose’s Board of Trustees. She is joined by JOE MCFADDEN, Chief Technology Officer of the Royal Opera House.

Artist TONY HEATON OBE, Shape Arts’ CEO since 2007, is to step down to focus on his sculpture work. He will remain with the organisation as Chair of the board, replacing PAULINE TAMBLING CBE, who steps down after completing her term in post.
ADAM PENFORD, who has directed at The National Theatre, The Old Vic and Salisbury Playhouse, is to replace GILES CROFT as Artistic Director of Nottingham Playhouse from 2018.
ALAN BISHOP, Chief Executive of the Southbank Centre, will be leaving in 2017 after eight years in post. He said: “I am retiring to find out if my family want to spend more time with me.”
