The new Chair of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland will be JOHN EDMUND. A former Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, he will take over from BOB COLLINS on 1 January 2017.
Aberdeen’s Citymoves Dance Agency has appointed STEVE SLATER as its new Director. Slater’s previous roles include 14 years as a Senior Producer for live art at Tramway, Glasgow, and 12 months as Head of Dance at Creative Scotland.
SUE SANDLE, previously Deputy Director of Development at the Donmar Warehouse, joins Arts Educational Schools as Director of Development.
SARAH THIRTLE, Head of Business Lending Programmes at Creative United, and LOHAN PRESENCER, Chairman of Ministry of Sound, have joined Music Venue Trust’s board of trustees.
Former member of the Northern Ireland Civil Service, STEPHEN PEOVER has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of Ulster Orchestra. He succeeds SIR GEORGE BAIN, who has retired after five years in post.
Independent curator THERESA BERGNE has joined arts and health consultancy Willis Newson as Associate Curator. She is joined by artist MONIQUE JIVRAM, who has been appointed Project Manager.
SOPHIE CORNELL, currently Exhibitions Manager at British Council, is to become Programmer of Talks and Events at the National Theatre. She will continue in her part-time role as Executive Producer of Undercurrent.
After five years as Arts & Cultural Development Officer at Scottish Refugee Council, SUZI MACIVER is to leave to take up the role of Creative Events Producer with Renfrewshire Council.

Currently Director of The Holburne Museum, Bath, JENNIFER SCOTT is to become Sackler Director of Dulwich Picture Gallery from April 2017. She will take over from IAN A C DEJARDIN, who departs after 12 years in post.
HELEN SHUTE, formerly Executive Director and a Founder of Hofesh Shechter Company, will become Chief Executive and Executive Producer at Rambert from March 2017. She replaces NADIA STERN, who is leaving in January.
