TOKS DADA, Programme Coordinator for Classical Music at Town Hall and Symphony Hall in Birmingham, and MARTYN RYAN, former Chief Operating Officer at Genesis Investment Management, have joined the board of Welsh National Opera. Ryan has taken the role of Chairman of Audit and Risk.

RICK HAYTHORNTHWAITE, former Chair of the Southbank Centre, the Almeida Theatre and the Tate Corporate Advisory Board, has been appointed Chair of the Creative Industries Federation. He will succeed Sir JOHN SORRELL, the Federation’s founder, in April.
From May, Creative Producer ANDREW LORETTO is to become Artistic Director of Hat Fair. He will replace MICHELLE WALKER, the current Artistic Director, who this month takes up a new post as Executive Director at Greenwich+Docklands International Festival.
Former Director of Salisbury Arts Centre, GEMMA OKELL, is to become the new Director of Blackheath Halls from April.
Currently Artistic Director and Co-Director of Pallant House Gallery, SIMON MARTIN has become the Gallery’s Director.
Corporate lawyer SABINE CHALMERS has been appointed to the National Theatre’s Board of Trustees. She is joined by SIMON WARSHAW, a member of the National Theatre’s Corporate Advisory Board.
The Academy of St Martin in the Fields has appointed ALAN WATT, currently interim CEO, as CEO. TIM MILLER has joined the organisation as Chair of the Board.

Creative director and filmmaker DAVID HEVEY is to become Chief Executive of Shape Arts from April. He takes over from TONY HEATON, who spent ten years in the role.
