Artist and curator STEFFAN JONES-HUGHES will join Oriel Davies gallery as Director in November. Currently Visual Arts Manager at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, he takes over from AMANDA FARR, who retired at the end of 2016.
Journalist, broadcaster, cultural commentator and author ROSIE MILLARD, who is currently chair of Hull UK City of Culture 2017, has been appointed Deputy CEO of the Creative Industries Federation. She will work with CEO JOHN KAMPFNER on external relations, stakeholder engagement and communications.

LAURENCE SILLARS, Chief Curator at BALTIC since 2009, has been appointed to the new post of Head of Exhibitions at The Henry Moore Foundation’s Leeds venue. He will work alongside JON WOOD, previously Research Curator, who has taken on an expanded role as Head of Research.
DOMINIC LOEHNIS will succeed DAVID ISAAC as Chair of Trustees at Modern Art Oxford when he steps down in January 2018 after 22 years on the gallery’s governing Council of Management. Loehnis is an executive search consultant for Egon Zehnder, with previous experience in media and broadcasting in the UK and US.
The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod has appointed pianist VICKY YANNOULA as its new Music Director, succeeding EILIR OWEN GRIFFITHS, who was six years in the role. She has worked previously with Trinity College London, Middlesex University and the Drake Calleja Trust.
