HANNAH KESTER is the new Director at the Roses, Tewkesbury. Previously Head of Operations at Theatr Brycheiniog and Deputy General Manager at the Bristol Hippodrome for ATG, she has taken over from GEOFFREY ROWE, former CEO of Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham, who was interim Director at the Roses for six months following the departure of SHARON CASEY.
Currently Creative Director at the Crafts Council, ANNIE WARBURTON will join Cockpit Arts as Chief Executive from November 2018. A writer, presenter and broadcaster on craft, art and design, she began her career at the Crafts Council of Ireland, and has held roles as CEO of ArtsMatrix and Head of Partnerships at Creative Skillset.
The new Chair of Swindon and Wiltshire’s children’s theatre company Prime Theatre is PAULINE SCOTT-GARRETT. Her career as a freelance consultant was preceded by roles as Director of the Royal Pavilion, Libraries and Museums in Brighton, and Director of Culture for Croydon. FIONA SINCLAIR, currently Managing Director of Lancaster Arts and previously Chief Executive of the Lancashire Sinfonietta, will succeed MARK WINGATE the new Chief Executive of the Leeds International Piano Competition.

MADANI YOUNIS will step down as Artistic Director and Chief Executive of the Bush Theatre at the end of this year to take on the new role of Creative Director at the Southbank Centre. Before joining the Bush he was Artistic Director of Freedom Studios in Bradford, and prior to that was Director of Red Ladder Theatre Company’s Asian Theatre School.
STEPHEN FREEMAN will join Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre as the new Executive Director in January next year. Previously Chief Executive at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, he has also worked for Arts Council England as Relationship Manager for Theatre in the North West.
