A new call for funding applications to Culture 2000 for projects starting in 2003, has been announced, with deadlines in October 2002.
Cultural organisations may submit proposals for either 1-year or 2-3 year projects, and the special focus for this latest round of EU funding will be on the performing arts, though submissions are also invited in other artforms. Projects must be uniquely European and developed and implemented by a partnership of organisations from at least 3 European countries. The 15 EU member states, 10 countries in central & eastern Europe, Norway, Iceland and possibly Malta and Cyprus will all be permitted to participate in this latest call. EUCLID, is providing comprehensive information and guidance to Culture 2000 at its website at www.culture2000. info, which contains links to the official EC web-page from where further details of the call, application criteria and the application form can be downloaded. In relation to the new call, EUCLID will be running more Culture 2000 half-day workshops in July which will be free to people who attended workshops earlier this year. e: seminars@euclid.co.uk
