At a party to celebrate ten years of Jerwood Foundation activities, nearly 400 collaborative partners and past recipients of Jerwood funding, enjoyed an evening of performance and live music at The Jerwood Space, including a dance performance by JazzXchange.
The Foundation is celebrating ten years under the chairmanship of Alan Grieve. Under his direction, the fund has swelled to the extent that this year it will distribute around £6m, primarily to the arts and education. Recent beneficiaries include the Royal Court Theatre (£3m), the Royal College of Physicians (£2m), RADA (£1.2m) and Trinity College of Music (£1.2m). The Foundation also offers awards including the annual Jerwood Painting Prize, recently won by Katie Pratt (£30,000).
