Imperial War Museum North, Britain?s only building created by internationally acclaimed architect Daniel Libeskind, has reported first-year visitor figures of 460,000, over 50% ahead of its targets.
The museum?s learning resource CD, which gives schools and colleges access to a virtual preview as well as curriculum-related materials, has won an award as best interactive CD at the 2003 Design Week awards.
