Aurora Nova Festival at the Edinburgh Fringe is promoting a whole venue programme along with a new way of performing, which will enable high quality international physical theatre and dance to be produced and presented in optimum conditions for both the artists and the public.
Each company will equally participate in the running cost and logistics of the venue, St. Stephens, and will take an equal share of the box office profits, regardless of their own achievement in the Festival. All will experience both more favourable and less favourable times of performance throughout the month. Organisers hope that artists and audiences will regard this new initiative as a welcome new feature at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and one to be developed for many years to come.
