A new venture, Culture Finance north west, is being launched to help make finance more easily available to people starting or running businesses in the creative industries.
Supported by Arts Council England and the Northwest Development Agency, Culture Finance north west will be a match-maker between the financial sector and the creative industries, assisting businesses to find finance and guiding them through the loan application process, as well as ensuring that lenders understand the unique requirements of creative businesses and the mutual benefits that can be obtained from bringing both parties together. Culture Finance north west currently helps with micro-credit for individuals and organisations needing loans around £3,000 and gives assistance in securing loans from £5,000 upwards.
