Recent developments in the arts funding system mean changing the map in the south of England. A period of parallel working is underway before the areas of Swindon, Wiltshire and South East Dorset transfer from Southern Arts to South West Arts.

They join South West Arts on April 1, 2003, but for the time being funding applications should be sent to the existing offices. South West Arts has assured clients that current funding agreements will be honoured. A series of ?familiarisation days? is being run to discuss the changes. Additionally, these days are designed to share information among the arts organisations in the regions affected by these changes.
