The Generating Company, a new circus act based in London, has received an Invention and Innovation award of £73,500 to research and develop a new contemporary circus show, ?Storm?.
The company is using the best young British talent, with the majority of its 21 performers coming from the Millennium Show. It intends to operate commercially and profit from successful shows which will be channelled back into the professional development of performers, training bursaries and the identification of new talent through circus summer schools.
