The new Head of Press and Public Affairs at Welsh National Opera is to be Caroline Leech (pictured) who is currently Senior Press Officer at the Arts Council of England.

The Director of Barnet?s Bull Theatre, Adrian Berry, is leaving after six years to take up the position of Director of The Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells.

Julia Ient has joined Eastern Orchestral Board as Funding Development Manager.

Surrey Institute of Art and Design has appointed Dr Simon Olding, a board member of the new South West Regional Arts Council, to the position of Director of the Crafts Study Centre. He joins from the Heritage Lottery Fund where he was Director of Policy & Research.

Duncan Craig is to take up the role of Account Manager with M+H Communications He leaves his role as Marketing Manager at the People?s History Museum, and has previously worked for the Palace Theatre and Opera House, Manchester.

Will Reeves has left Polka Theatre to take up the position of Sales and Information Officer at the Unicorn Theatre for Children. Other new appointments at Unicorn include Carla Pannett as Assistant to the Director of Development, Carmen Morris-Coulson as Marketing Manager, and Sally Wrench as Press and Marketing Assistant.
