Polka Theatre has appointed freelance director Annie Wood (pictured) to succeed Vicky Ireland as its Artistic Director.

Francis McKee and Kay Pallister have been selected by the Scottish Arts Council to curate Scotland?s exhibition at the 2003 Venice Biennale. Francis is currently Head of Digital Art and New Media at CCA in Glasgow and a research lecturer at the Glasgow School of Art. Kay has most recently worked at the Gagosian Gallery in New York and has recently been appointed by Axis to create a new curatorial network across the UK.
