Scottish Ballet has announced the appointment of Ashley Page as its new Artistic Director. Choreographer and former Principal Dancer with The Royal Ballet, he replaces Robert North.

Ian Brown, currently Associate Artistic Director of West Yorkshire Playhouse, is to become its new Artistic Director/Chief Executive, replacing Jude Kelly.

British Youth Opera has announced the appointment of Timothy Dean, formerly its Music Director, as Artistic Director.

Georgina Langdale leaves the communications agency Birdsong PR to join the Arts Council of England?s Diversity Project as Communications Manager. Philip Deverell, formerly General Manager of NITRO, also joins the team as Project Manager.

The new Artistic Director at Lung Ha?s Theatre Company is Australian director, performer, and clown doctor, Clark Crystal. He was a community theatre practitioner with West Theatre Company in Melbourne and co-founder of Benchtour Productions in Edinburgh.
