FACT, the Foundation for Art & Creative Technology, has appointed three new members of staff. Iona Horsburgh is Operations Director, joining from the Neptune Theatre, Liverpool, where she was General Manager; Alan Dunn is Superchannel Programme Manager and Susie Reynolds is Marketing & Communications Manager.

Louise Merrin, formerly Audience Development Officer at Merseyside?s Arts Marketing Consortium, TEAM, has been appointed as Campaigns Manager for The Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Theatres.

The Lyric Theatre Hammersmith has announced the completion of its senior management team with several new appointments. Jessica Hepburn, Head of Development, joins from Brighton Festival; Ellie Beedham, formerly administrator for DV8, is the new Marketing Manager; Damian Ball, the new Theatre Manager, joins from the Peacock Theatre; and Fergus Gillies is the new Production Manager.

Adrian Ross is leaving Newport County Borough Council, where has been Arts Development Officer for five years, to become Manager of Llanover Hall Arts Centre in Cardiff.

In a departmental restructuring at Warwick Arts Centre, Rob Macpherson has become Marketing and Development Director and Greg Page is now Marketing Manager.

Sandra Bruce-Gordon, who has been a theatre manager for 18 years, most recently as General Manager of Watersmeet Theatre in Rickmansworth, has been appointed as Arts Services Manager for the London Borough of Hillingdon.


The North Music Trust, created to manage the Music Centre, Gateshead, has announced the appointment of Simon Clugston and Ros Rigby(pictured). They will jointly hold the role of Performance Programme Director for all the work of Northern Sinfonia, Folkworks and music north, both within the Centre and throughout the UK.

Composer Jonathan Dove, who is currently involved with the Education and Community Programme at Spitalfields Festival, is to take over as its Artistic Director from 2001-2004.
