A ?2m initiative aimed at marketing Irish culture internationally has been launched by the Irish Government. With funding for travel and subsistence, the organisation will support individual artists travelling abroad to attend festivals and touring internationally.
Meanwhile, The Arts Council of Ireland has opened up its consultation process to find a replacement for its axed Arts Plan 2002?2006. Views on the future of the arts in Ireland and the role of the Arts Council should be received by 8 April.
