Currently Director of Projects and Estates at the Tate, Peter Wilson has been appointed by the Royal Shakespeare Company to lead the redevelopment of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford.

Neil Murray, Director of Glasgow?s Tron theatre, has been appointed as Executive Director of the National Theatre of Scotland.

The new Arts Co-ordinator for Bromley Hospitals NHS Trust is Josie Aston. She was previously Press and Marketing Manager for the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, and will be replaced by William Norris, formerly of the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Catherine Mallyon, General Manager of Reading Arts and Theatres for Reading Borough Council and previously General Manager of Oxford Playhouse, has been appointed as Director of Operations at The South Bank Centre.

Fiona Burn, former Centre Director at Forest Arts Centre in New Milton, has left to become Chief Executive at the Theatre Royal, Winchester. She will be succeeded by Emma Dolman (pictured), formerly Literature Development Officer for Hampshire County Council.

Vivek Malhotra is taking on the role of Project Manager for the planned Centre for Contemporary Art in Nottingham. He previously led the conversion of the Hat Factory in Luton and established India?s first arts management institute.

Dublin?s Opera Theatre Company has appointed Matthew Broom as Artistic Administrator. He was previously Wales Millennium Centre Project Manager for Welsh National Opera, and Music Department Administrator at Glyndebourne.

Richard Lambert has stepped down as Chairman of Visiting Arts. Replacing him will be Gordon Conway, currently President of the Rockefeller Foundation in New York.

Chris McGuigan is leaving The Royal Spa Centre, Leamington Spa to become Marketing Manager for the Regent Theatre and Victoria Hall in Stoke-on-Trent.
