City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra has appointed Benjamin Noakes (pictured), previously Concerts Manager at English Sinfonia, as Orchestral Manager. Rachel Blackman has joined as Media Relations Manager, Melanie Hinds as Development Manager, Tony Harris as Education Officer and Galia Bouhayed as Finance Assistant.

Graham Brown, Executive Director of The Castle, Wellingborough, has been appointed Chief Executive at The Galleries of Justice in Nottingham. Press and Marketing Officer, Samantha Tai, is also leaving The Castle to become Assistant Manager for Clear Channel Entertainment at the Lyceum Theatre, London.

Mary Swan, formerly Associate Director at the New Wolsey, has been appointed as Artistic Director at proteus Theatre Company. Nicola Oakley has been promoted from Administrator to General Manager.
