A not-for-profit initiative by Arts Corp International aims to promote online trading and access to international markets for artists, by enabling them to sell work without any overheads or financial commitments. Sadler?s Wells and The Place have entered into a new agreement to share provision for premises management. Under this practical arrangement which runs until September 2005, Sadler?s Wells larger team of technicians will provide maintenance for The Place, in association with its own premises management team, thereby allowing the two organisations to reduce costs and share their expertise in maintaining such specialist facilities.

Visiting Arts is compiling a series of Cultural Profiles for publication online. A consultation into youth action and engagement has been launched by the Russell Commission to identify the measures to be contained in a new national framework to increase youth volunteering and civic service by young people. A new website aimed at teachers, education officers and arts organisations in Merseyside has been launched by TEAM (The Entertainment and Arts Marketers).
