News – North East Summit

Newcastle/Gateshead is to be the host city for the World Summit on Arts and Culture in June 2006.
Previously held in Canada and Singapore, the summit is a major conference that brings governmental agencies for culture together every two to three years. It is expected to attract around 500 cultural leaders, policy makers and regeneration managers from across the world.
