The Arts and Humanities Research Board has appointed Damian Popolo as its new International Affairs Manager, with responsibility for representing the UK arts and humanities community in international research policy debates.

Jeanne Jenner is the new Programme Director for Arts+Media Training, replacing Rachel Sutton who is now Education and Learning Officer at Arts Council England South West.

Sally Ann Muckley will be joining Sadler’s Wells as Development Director. She is currently Deputy Director of Development at English National Opera.

The new Head of Communications at the Natural History Museum will be Tom Engel, who is currently Head of External Affairs for Jobcentre Plus. He succeeds Catherine Holden, who is now Director of Marketing and Development at the Museums and Galleries of Scotland.

Caroline Griffin, formerly at Sampad, has been appointed Audience Development Director for Audiences Central, the new audience development agency for the West Midlands and the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

David Pepworth is the new Marketing Manager at Phoenix Arts, Leicester. He was previously Marketing Manager at The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen.


The Point, Eastleigh, has restructured its dance team, appointing Jane Corry (pictured above) as part-time Dance Programmer, Kim Knight as Dance Projects Officer and Arti Sonchhatla (pictured below) as part-time Audience Development Officer.

The Academy of Ancient Music has appointed Karen Foster as Orchestra Manager.

Caroline Dudley, currently Director of the Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro, will be joining Hampshire County Council as Head of Museums and Archives, replacing Stephen Locke who retires in July.
