Tickets have gone on sale this week for performances at the Wales Millennium Centre (WMC). Montreal-based performance troupe Cirque Eloize?s new production, Rain (pictured), will be the first show at the newly built centre when it opens in December. In a recent survey of South Wales? arts attenders, 55% said it was ?extremely likely? they would attend shows at WMC.

Caroline Sanger-Davies, Director of Communications and Marketing for WMC said, ?Of course, the people who responded to this survey were existing arts attenders. One of our main challenges is ensuring that we attract new audiences and to take WMC to them.? To help achieve this ambition, a travelling ticket and information centre will be visiting major summer events as well as local communities across Wales over the coming months. Tickets are available from the WMC box office, t: 08700 402000; w: http://www.wmc.org.uk
