How it all began?
Oxfordshire Touring Theatre Company (OTTC) was set up in 1979 with the aim of providing theatre activities for the communities of Oxfordshire and, in particular, to those with limited access to mainstream theatre providers.

Pivotal moments
1996 ? Began touring work to young people with ?Teechers? by John Godber
1998 ? Selected for increased funding through Southern Arts? Theatre Review
1998 ? Initiated touring out of Oxfordshire supported by Arts Council England (ACE) project funding
2002 ? A substantial increase in revenue funding through ACE?s Next Stage
2003 ? Staff team increases from three to five, to include a Technical Manager and Assistant Administrator.

The organisation today
OTTC specialises in touring work to rural areas for adults and family audiences, with work for young people touring to theatres and arts centres, and for older people to nursing and residential homes. The company is committed to new writing, borne out by the appointment of new Artistic Director, writer Brendan Murray. OTTC regularly collaborates with other companies, such as New Perspectives Theatre Company and Sixth Sense.

A big thank you to?
