Wales Millennium Centre has become the first arts centre in the UK to choose Tessitura Software for its box office, fundraising and marketing operations. Originally developed by the Metropolitan Opera for it?s own use, the system was first implemented in 1998 and is now used by many North American arts organisations.

The findings of research conducted into the impact of Museums and Galleries Month 2003 on the museum and gallery sector has been published by the Campaign for Museums. 98% of respondents believed that the initiative should continue although opinions differed as to whether it should remain as a month or be reduced to a week. The Millfield Theatre in Edmonton, North London, which has also been variously known as Millfield House and Millfield Art Complex, has announced that, as part of attempts to reinvigorate the venue, it will now be collectively known as Millfield Arts Centre.
