Stephen Snoddy (pictured), currently Director of Milton Keynes Gallery, has been appointed Director of Baltic. Stephen, who is also Chair of the Jury for the Comme Ca Art Prize North, will take-up his new duties full time from March 2004.

Charity Green, formerly Head of Business Development for Arts and Business, London, is now Director of Development for Commissions East in Cambridge.

Patrick Burton has been appointed Director of Southwark Arts Forum.

Keith Lancing, former Artistic and Education Director of Sutton Theatres, has become General Manager of the Regent Centre in Christchurch, Dorset.


The Byre Theatre in St. Andrews has announced that Stephen Wrentmore (pictured) will succeed Ken Alexander as Artistic Director. He will take up his post in March 2004.

Sally Medlyn has left her post as Assistant Executive Director of Culture at Liverpool City Council to set up an arts consultancy.

David Matthews has taken up the post of Director of Music and Juliet Abrahamson, Director of the Cambridge Summer Music Festival, has become Chair of the Council of Trustees.
