The future of English language theatre in Wales will be discussed at the Wales Association for the Performing Arts’ conference at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff on December 5. The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts is inviting proposals for papers, workshops, poster presentations and performance pieces for its forthcoming Disability Arts conference entitled ‘Moving Centre Stage’. Submissions should relate to international perspectives on disability arts, disability arts in Higher Education, legislation, policy and funding, ‘inclusive practice’, or effecting change within the employment sector. A pilot website to put Scottish craftspeople in touch with a worldwide audience has been launched. The site will initially provide an online directory of craft-makers in the Highlands and Islands before extending to cover the whole of Scotland in 2004. w: http://www.craftscotland.org
