News – International matchmaking

An online resource to help programmers and curators present international arts more efficiently in the UK will be launched by Visiting Arts next month.
The website is being designed as a networking and information tool to enable UK-based professional arts practitioners, especially programmers and curators, to exchange information about overseas artists that they are considering bringing to the UK for projects involving presentation, collaboration or residencies. It will provide a communication platform for arts organisations planning to present an international performing artist or company and looking for additional dates, and for those planning an exhibition of international work and seeking more venues. The resource also aims to help those who are simply wanting to find partners with whom to develop initial plans to present international work.
