The Big Draw, a nationwide drive to encourage adults and children to take up drawing, kicks off at the Natural History Museum on October 4 with a launch day consisting of workshops, competitions and lectures.

Professional cartoonists from national newspapers including The Guardian, The Times, The Daily Telegraph and Private Eye, will compete in a Celebrity Draw event to produce the best representation of the Natural History Museum. A catalyst for a range of events taking place across the country, the campaign is organised by Drawing Power, a charitable lobbying group which aims to encourage drawing in both formal and informal educational contexts.
