News – Art meets science

Research fellowships for artists and scientists to work together have been announced by Arts Council England (ACE) and the Arts and Humanities Board (AHRB).
Each worth between £22,000 and £35,000, the fellowships will enable participants to explore how art can contribute to science and science to art. The programme builds on a 2001 report which concluded that society’s challenges need to be met by a marriage of arts and humanities with science.
