Phil Gibby (pictured) will leave his post as Development Manager at Bristol Old Vic to succeed Siobhan Flynn in the position of Regional Director for Arts & Business South West.

Pilot Theatre has appointed Liz Richards, formerly Head of Marketing at Worcester Swan, as General Manager. She will take up the post in June. Jo Darby has also joined the company as Education Director to replace Lucy Clark, who has moved to DARTS (Doncaster Community Arts).

Angela Machin, previously Marketing Officer at Opera North, has been appointed Marketing & Programming Manager with mind the?gap. Emma Gee, previously a freelance director and Artistic Director of Yorkshire Women Theatre, has also joined the company in the new post of Outreach Director.


NESTA ? the National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts ? has appointed Rick Hall (pictured) to the post of Fellowship Young People?s Project Leader. He was previously Fellowship Programme Manager at NESTA.

Jane Speirs will join Perth Theatre and Perth Concert Hall in the newly created position of Chief Executive at the beginning of June. She has been Heritage and Cultural Services Manager at Stirling Council since 1996.

The Castle, Wellingborough has promoted Kim Bernard from Press and Marketing Officer to Marketing Officer, and appointed Samantha Tai, formerly of The Alban Arena in St Albans, to the position of Press and Marketing Officer. In addition, Gareth Dicks has been appointed as Development Officer after working on a casual basis at The Castle. Wenna Stockdale has also joined the organisation as Education & Outreach Officer.

Jonathan Stone, the former Chief Executive of The Courtyard Centre for the Arts in Hereford, has been succeeded by Martyn Green, previously the venue?s General Manager.
