The Ambassador Theatre Group has appointed Derek Nicholls (pictured), currently Director of Belfast?s Grand Opera House, as the new Chief Executive of the Churchill Theatre, Bromley.

Helen Featherstone has left the post of Audience Development Worker at Goole Town Council to move to Loca, as Project Manager (Creative Partnerships).

The Hampshire Sculpture Trust has appointed Astrid Bowron as Director. Formerly Curator of the Museum of Modern Art Oxford and an independent curator, she replaces Frances Lord who now runs a visual arts consultancy.

Following the re-launch of Manchester?s Castlefield Gallery where she has been Consultant Director since 1998, Hope London Morris has become Executive Director of CITE (Commissions in the Environment). Cathy Newbery, former Projects Manager for the Irwell Sculpture Trail has become CITE?s Projects Curator and Claire Joyce the Administrator and Education Co-ordinator.

Rachel Martin has been seconded to Oxford Inspires on a part-time basis to serve as Principal Development Officer. She will continue to work as a senior consultant for ABL Cultural Consulting.

Manchester Craft and Design Centre has appointed Jack Hale as Manager. He was previously the Administrator at the new media arts commissioning agency Pavilion.


Kathryn Baker (pictured) has joined the Lichfield Garrick as Marketing and Publicity Manager. She was formerly Marketing Assistant at Birmingham Arts Marketing, and prior to that was at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff.

Spitalfields Festival has appointed Lindsay Endean as Marketing and Box Office Manager to succeed Kath Trout who is to become Marketing Manager at the Philharmonia Orchestra. Lindsay previously worked with Music at Oxford.

Stuart Buchanan has left his post as New Media Manager of M+H Communications to establish zerogweb.net, a creative new media company servicing the arts and entertainment industries.

Kaye Winwood, formerly Exhibitions Co-ordinator at the Ikon Gallery, has joined Vivid as Project Manager.

After more than four years with the national black touring theatre company NITRO, Natasha Graham has left to pursue a freelance career as a project manager.

Nicola Kennedy has been appointed as the Drake Music Project?s Regional Project Co-ordinator for the North West to succeed Claire Turner who is leaving to pursue freelance work.

Michael Quirke has been appointed as Head of Education and Training at Rawhide Comedy. He was previously Education Officer at the Everyman and Playhouse, Liverpool.
