News – Go-ahead for Welsh Culturenet

Jenny Randerson, Minister for Culture, Sport and the Welsh Language, has announced that a consortium of cultural and other organisations has been allocated £1.5m to deliver Culturenet Cymru, an all-Wales, bilingual, cultural ICT network.

The aim of the project is to improve access to culture, increase participation in it, and provide more information about it through the provision of high-quality digital cultural material for use by learners in both formal and informal contexts.
