?visions?, the festival of visual performance, in collaboration with South East Dance has commissioned young graduates from the region to create short productions incorporating visual performance, dance and puppetry which will be premiered in Brighton next weekend.
Young animators, puppeteers and dancers took part in masterclasses with contemporary dance choreographer Yolande Snaith and Brighton based puppeteer Graeme Gilmour, (designer of ?Shockheaded Peter?). This resulted in three commissions which festival-goers can see on October 25-26, including The Freds (pictured) are a collective of cartoonesque alien creatures executing a choreographed dance.
