What does your organisation do?
We are an international performing arts company, which stages visual Theatre of Sound. We collaborate with international artists and have performed at international festivals across the UK, Europe and South America.

What does your current job involve?
I concentrate on funding and development, national and international promotion of the company and it?s work, and securing and organising the touring programme. As all our work is created through collaboration I also organise this ? contracts, work permits, FEU etc.

Who did you used to work for and what did you do?
I was a volunteer with Scottish Ballet?s education department, Festival Co-ordinator for Renfrewshire Council and Theatre Administrator at The Arches, Glasgow.

What do you enjoy most about your present post?
The variety constantly keeps me on my toes. Also the unveiling of the next project by our Artistic Director, Cathie Boyd, always puts my mind in over-drive.

What do you find most difficult in your present post?
Time is always a problem, of course, and it can be hard to remember ?the art? when you are on the merry-go-round of funding and reporting.

What is your career ambition?
To continue to enjoy the work that I am doing and to meet the challenges that come my way. I would also like to continue lecturing.

Who has most influenced your career to date?
Everyone that I have worked with has influenced me in some way: it would be impossible for them not to. Also friends and family have played a large part in my development as well as being a great support.

If you could have done any job in the world, what would you like to have done?
A Las Vegas dancer with tail feathers and all!

If you had three wishes for the future of the arts, what would they be?
Appreciation and support from all areas.
For art practitioners? skills to be recognised and for the value of them to be remunerated.
Quality both on and off the stage.
