News – Input invited for Urban Summit

Two years after the publication of the Urban White Paper, ?Our towns and cities; the future,? the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) is to mount the Urban Summit on October 31 and November 1, 2002 at the ICC in Birmingham.

Taking stock of progress with urban policies and programmes on the quality of urban life, it will be hosted by Ministers from across Government. Interested parties, including arts organisations involved in regeneration, are invited to contribute ideas for the programme and content, which will include keynote speeches, an international speaker, panel and themed sessions and visits/walking tours. w: http://www.odpm.gov.uk
