Adrian Noble, Artistic Director and Chief Executive of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) has announced that he will not be renewing his contract when it expires in March 2003. He has worked with the RSC for 22 years, and been its leader since 1991.

After ten years as Artistic Director of Edinburgh?s Royal Lyceum Theatre, Kenny Ireland is to leave next year when his current contract ends. His future plans include freelance acting and directing.

The Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG), has appointed David Williams as Chief Executive of The King?s Theatre in Glasgow. Since 1999 he has been working as a consultant in the arts, most recently at The Queen?s Hall and The Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh.

Symon Easton, Chief Executive of Northampton Theatres has left his post to pursue other interests. He joined the organisation in 1999.

Peter Black, who has been Box Office Manager at Wigmore Hall for the past 7 years, is to become its first Marketing Manager.

Catherine Rose (pictured), Education Development Manager at Eastern Touring Agency since 1995, is leaving to pursue freelance work as a writer, trainer and project manager. She is also editor of ArtsProfessional?s email newsletter, APe-mail.

Richmond Symphony VA USA has appointed David Fisk as its new Executive Director. Previously Chief Executive of the Ulster Orchestra Society and General Manager of the Orchestra of St John?s, he will succeed Michele Walter.

Stacey Arnold has been appointed Press Officer at West Yorkshire Playhouse.

Jonathan Vaughan, a double bass player with and elected chairman of the London Symphony Orchestra, has been appointed Director of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. He will take over the responsibilities of both Jill White the NYO?s Director of Music, and Michael de Grey, its Chief Executive.

Phill Ward, previously Opera Officer with the Arts Council of England has been appointed Director of Mersey Producers, replacing Richard Cragg who is returning to freelance consultancy.

The Orchestra of St John?s has promoted Samantha Lodge to the newly-created post of Marketing and Projects Director. Rachel Tubby, formerly at South East Arts has joined the company as Orchestra and Projects Manager.

Teresa Dolan, formerly Head of Employability Skills in Creativity at TS2k has joined Trinity Theatre and Arts Centre Tunbridge Wells as Education and Community Manager.

Chloe Horner has joined Oxford Contemporary Music as part-time Audience Development Officer. Her background is in music and PR, in particular with Truck Records and the Truck Festival in Oxfordshire.
