• 21% always use ticketing transactions as an opportunity for fundraising, but 33% never do

• A third of organisations sell between 20% and 40% of tickets online, but one in six sells more than 60% online

• 44% never charge booking fees, but 48% charge them for online ticket purchases

• 83% regularly use data from box office systems to generate management or marketing information, but only 32% regularly use their data for fundraising

• 57% of organisations use their box office systems to manage their Friends’ scheme

• 89% are satisfied or quite satisfied with the reliability of their computer-based ticketing system, and 72% are satisfied or quite satisfied with the customer service from their ticketing system supplier

• 36% think they should invest in a new ticketing system within the next 12 months
