Siobhan Kenny is to be the new Director of Strategy and Communications at the DCMS. She is currently Director of Strategic Communications at the National Magazine Company.


The Arts Council of Wales (ACW) has appointed Dewi Walters (pictured) as it?s new Deputy Chair. He has been an ACW Council Member since June 2001, and was a head-teacher in Powys for 14 years, before becoming an education consultant.

Gareth Tudor Price joins Hull Truck as its first Associate Director. He has a 17 year history with the company as an actor and director.

TEAM, the Arts Marketing and Audience Development Agency for Merseyside, has appointed Carolyn Sinclair as Project Manager for the New Audiences ?Arts Ambassadors? scheme and Karen Mercer leaves Hatworks, the museum of the hatting industry in Stockport, to become TEAM?s Audience Development Manager.

Jo O?Driscoll, currently Head of Communications and Publications at the Policy Studies Institute, has joined Resource: The Council for Museums, Archives and Libraries as Communications Manager.

Tickets.com, has restructured its international management team, based in Milton Keynes. Playbox Theatre has made two new appointments; David Maddox leaves Solihull Business Centre to become Head of Business and New Ventures, and Fran Hankinson, who has been a member of its information team since 2001 becomes Head of Public Affairs.

Robert Cogo-Fawcett, Director of Production Programming at the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG), is to leave the company in the early summer to pursue other interests in the theatre business.
