News – Staff scheme success

A scheme to boost arts participation at three of Tyneside?s arts venues has been awarded the largest investment ever made to the region by Arts & Business. Devised by P&G, it involves a credit card which will give 2,240 staff a range of arts offers, including 2-for-1 ticket deals at Newcastle Playhouse, Tyneside Cinema and Tyne & Wear Museums, which manages ten of the region?s most popular attractions.
The £50,000 award will be used to refund ticket purchases, but also to fund special events and an advice video for retired volunteers who take part in the scheme to visit their former colleagues.
